Nayak Beach Resort Reviews, Puri

I thought the hotel was beach facing, but there was a tall building standing infront of us. When we asked the room boy about it, he showed us from the corner of the window where a minute part of the beach could be seen. Otherwise it was fine.

To start with, the hotel is located near one of the cleanest beach in Puri and is not very far from the hustle of the town. The sea beach is within 200 metres of walking distance. In front of this hotel there is another hotel which prevents the sea facing rooms and only partial view of sea is possible even from the topmost rooms.It is a new hotel so the exterior and interior is very neat and clean. They have a spacious lobby and the lift is of a good quality.The staff is very courteous and polite.Especially the room attendants and the swimming pool attendant 'Rinkoo' were very sweet and helpful.They have this beautiful average size rooftop swimming pool which the kids and couples will enjoy a lot. In room facilities like TV AC, etc. are new hence provide a comfortable stay. The worst part is the food in this hotel.Once you try out anything whether it's Indian, sea food or Bengali u will feel like throwing up. I ordered South Indian food on the first morning of my stay which was in there menu but they said that it cannot be provided. Then I told them that I would like to have south Indian dishes the next morning for which they agreed but again failed to provide.They charge heavily for the bad food they provide and put Curry leaves in almost anything they prepare. Apart from the food everything was good.
