It was not a hotel, it was like a home and people there were very nice. Food was like mothers recipe. Garden was very good.

This small guesthouse is a very peaceful retreat in Bhimtal, while still only 10 minutesÂ’ walk from the main bazaar. It feels more like a homestay than hotel. I was here for a work trip and the quiet location was ideal for peak tourist season when the lake side is incredibly busy. It is set amongst woodland with a beautifully maintained garden. I had originally paid for a single room but I was kindly allowed to stay in the larger, more comfortable double room for no extra cost as it was vacant during my stay. The menu is fixed (veg or non-veg) but the meals were freshly prepared and tasty, provided in a large communal dining room/lounge.

This property is a hidden paradise. It is located at such a quiet place that one can really appreciate the beauty of silence. It is a small house with two rooms, converted into a guest house. The attendents were very polite and caring. Home made food served by the cook was of our choice and delecious.
