Stayed with my wife for 2 days.Excellent location, right on Chowrasta.Nothing compares to the view from the room.The windows are so wide that one can also soak in the sunlight.The rooms are impecceably clean.Chandra maam actually went out of her way to help us.Would love to stay again.Would also like to appreciate a prompt & warm mail that I received from Sidhharth, the owner when I wanted a direct confirmation of my booking from the hotel. Services were above standard.

Located at Chowrasta the mall, the best location in darjeeling. Very near to all market places and very good view of Kanchenjunga. Visited with family of four myself my spouse and two kids and the stay was great experiance. Intially I was taken the new wing however later I was upgraded to the heritage wing and it was awesome experiance .

Room service is very poor.

Nice except heritage so a bit old type but bang on the mall for location, room service not tha good but rest nice. Give it overall 4/5

Within a two minutes walk from Chowrasta and The Mall in Darjeeling, the Heritage wing of this hotel is one of the most relaxing properties that we have ever stayed in, considering that we both are film makers and have travelled extensively in India and abroad. Seated just a little above the normal bustle of city life, it offers a charming pocket of peace and serenity with excellent views to the Himalayan Ranges and the valley across. Being run by warm, friendly and keen team of courteous people (Siddhartha, his family and friends) the hotel has an immediate feel of care and wellness. On our arrival, hosts Kunal and Pritam familiarized us with the facilities and having limited room service with them suited us all the more since it gave us freedom to try out a variety of different cuisines and restaurants, just a stone's throw away! Later, Pritam took time and initiative to explain all possible outings that we could make, and judiciously arranged for our visits around the town in his brand-new car! Large, well ventilated and well-lit rooms are cozy and charming. Bathrooms are large with running hot and cold water round the clock. We are planning another trip to this property in October (for a trek) already!! All in all, a fabulous hotel with the most courteous staff in this queen of the hills.

This hotel apart from its location is not worthy to live.

Not recommended while travelling with young children. Basic needs such as having hot water to drink and bathe are difficult to be met. No adequate generator back-up. However, staff is friendly and helpful.
