Le Royal Meridien Reviews, Chennai

Rooms are good, but overall the hotel is slightly noisy in the public places.

I chose Le Royal Meridien as it was close to the airport and not very far away from important areas of Chennai. The welcome was warm, they have a nice lobby to relax in. The restaurants are good especially Ciilantro. What struck me most was that the staff from receptionists to young chaps who changed the beds all seemed to be well trained and polite. The hotel's own chauffeur driven car was a blessing!! The room itself was tastefully furnished in dark wood and the bathroom set in marble was a pleasure to use. If I had to pick out any negatives they would be very minor like needing to change some of the switch sockets like the one in the room I stayed in seemed to be ageing a bit!! I'm not entirely sure whether the pricing is competitive as it's not really centrally located in Chennai.
