Kufri Holiday Resort Reviews, Shimla

Kufri and the Shimla area have a variety of choices for stay, so much so that a poor traveler can get confused by the sheer results of search for a hotel. Such was my case, and I went by some good reviews on MMT by people who have been to the Resort. I am glad I made the choice to stay here. The resort, located at 9000-odd feet above sea level gives you a sense of calm when you "touch down". The feeling is uplifting. Nowhere else (except for the high Himalayas) would one be able to hear one's own breath - I could, on reaching the resort. The warm and hospitable welcome by the Resort staff, including Mr. Sumit Arora - Director of Operations instantly puts one at ease. The staff go above and beyond to fulfill requests .The rooms are well-appointed with modern amenities with large windows which give breathtaking views of the Kufri area. The cuisine is delectable and a pleasure to the palate. The facade of the resort is unique and a delight to the eyes. Leaves you with a happy feeling.

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. We booked standard room with all meals but after just one request at the time of check-in for higher category room hotel upgraded us to luxury suite. Our stay was wonderful in the resort. They have all the amenities in luxury suite like bathtub Two TVs with Tata sky, all wooden flooring, great view of valley, only one thing was missing minibar. Food was ok and breakfast was very nice every day. I recommend this hotel to everyone for staying at Kufri.

The location is very good. Service is good. Room quality is acceptable not great. Food is avarage.

A wonderful place full value of money, We had snow fall in the morning and it was heavy, they hotel staff was very cooperative, I wanted to special thanks to one of the driver for helping me and my family for the safe escape from the snow clad roads he came with us and without any money he did as for his guest. A wonderful place and staff.

While visiting Shimla, the best stay is always Kufri. We did enjoy a lot with peaceful cool climate alongwith the remarkable good service by hotel staff.
