The resort is located at a very beautiful location. Sadly one has to make an effort to enjoy the location. In short this place is not maintained and its existing natural beauty is not naturally enjoyable. The rooms are not maintained, broken drawers, shelves attract attention, the interior of the room is not much comfortable a very clumsy environment within the rooms. Television has only 3 clear channels the rest one can't watch. Food additives like soda is added. Staying in cottages make you one with nature but you have to walk a long way to have your breakfast, lunch, supper and dinner. So time goes in moving up and down for the food than enjoying the space. This hotel is understaffed. At the same time the existing staff is hardworking and trying their best to make one comfortable. This is hotel is not meant for non-vegetarian eater because the buffet consists compulsory paneer, potato and dal.

Khanvel Resorts is a good place for a weekend getaway. The rooms are OK, go for the rooms as against the Sandard Cottage that is located about a 5-10 minute drive away but is not very well maintained - peeling paint and generally seem to be neglected. We switched over from the cottage to a room after a look at the cottage. The deluxe and super deluxe cottages seemed much better but were fully booked. The positive about the place is the reasonably good service and the evening programs - there was a Karaoke night, the IPL matches were telecast on a large screen and Rajasthani folk dance - these were superb. The hotel seems a preferred destination for conferences from local companies - so be prepared to find the facilities like the swimming pool and the like crowded. The swimming pool itself could do with more cleaning and after the conference crowd of over 20 people got in, many without proper swimming wear, one just did not feel like getting into the pool. Overall good family outing spot.
