Hotel was nice enough. But food was very costly,therefore we decided to get it from outside.

We had a mixed experience at the hotel: On booking I actually thought I had a good deal. Where the hotel really fleeces you is on the food. Every item is super-priced. And room service earns a 20% service charge (on top of the 20% VAT that is already billed). Great views from the dining area - early mornings as well as late evenings. Clean bathrooms - and the service is prompt.

Fantastic hotel with great lake views and roof top restaurant. Great location allowing most sites to be seen on foot.

Great hotel, great location, and really pleasing staff! The views offered from the restaurant and roof are simply breathtaking. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend Jagat Niwas (count in the fact that it gives you the feel of living in a Haveli, it's brilliant value for money!)

The hotel is one of the decent hotels in Udaipur, just below the premuium segment of the Udai Vilas & Taj Palaces.. the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The restaurant offers a panoramic view of the lake, however the food on offer did not have much variety and was not as per standards in terms of taste. The approach road to the hotel is also a little congested. Overall nice experience.
