Jagat Niwas Palace is a 17th century haveli renovated and converted into a heritage hotel. Surrounded by other ancient havelis and temples, it offers rooms that have been restored to their ancient glory and yet are equipped with all modern amenities including en suite baths.

Jagat Niwas Palace is strategically situated in the heart of the old city adjoining the City Palace, alongside Lake Pichola and behind the famous Jagdish Temple. It is 26 kms away from the airport and approximately 3 kms away from the railway station and bus stand.

Hotel Facilities
With an arrangement for organising traditional style weddings, folk dance performances and puppet shows, the hotel lives up to its ethnic origins. Other facilities available at Jagat Niwas Palace include car rental service, travel assistance, souvenir shop, masseur on call, laundry service and doctor on call. Room Amenities
The hotel has 29 air conditioned rooms that are all different from each other in size and decor and are situated around a central courtyard. The rooms are divided into 10 Standard rooms, 12 Deluxe rooms, 4 Super Deluxe rooms and 3 Suites. All Super Deluxe rooms and Suites are Lake facing rooms and feature jharokhas/balconies. All rooms are traditionally decorated with ethnic furnishings and antique furniture and are equipped with modern amenities including cable television, intercom telephone, cushioned seating alcove, luggage rack and cupboard. Washroom amenities include soap, shampoo, shower cap, talcum powder, moisturiser, face tissues, linen and a geyser.

Dining
The Jagat Niwas Palace lakeside restaurant with its jharokhas facing the lake is an ideal place to enjoy excellent Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant also has a rooftop dining area which provides scenic views of Lake Pichola and the Lake Palace. While the restaurant is open for breakfast (6 am - 11 am), lunch (11 am - 1:30 pm) and dinner (6 pm - 10:30 pm), room service is available round the clock. While meals are served from 6 am to 10:30 pm, snacks and beverages are available at all times.
