Hotel Willow Banks was established in the year 1871 and is a landmark estate which spells history and exemplifies an era of gracious living. Originally owned by Arthur James Craddok, architect and builder of Shimla, the building has now been redesigned into a hotel endowed with all modern amenities and comforts, effortlessly blending into the surrounding landscape and enhancing its beauty.

The hotel is centrally heated with a cosy elegant lobby welcoming you as you step in. A multiplicity of contrasting colours and design add a unique distinctness to each and every area of the hotel. Italian marble, granite, Malaysian rubber wood and teakwood complement each other to produce a decor which is both visually and aesthetically appealing.

Room Amenities
There are a total of 35 rooms categorised as 10 Deluxe and 25 Super Deluxe. All the rooms have light wall-to-wall carpeting, a small seating area, an attached bathroom and balcony. They are furnished with light wood and a mixture of light and dark upholstery. Some of the rooms have quaint sloping roofs and add charm to the area. All the rooms also open out to a private balcony with an amazing view of Shimla against the surrounding mountains. All rooms have EPABX and direct dial telephones, cable television, central air conditioning and heating, a mini fridge, hot and cold running water, 24 hours room service and all the bathrooms have a tub in them as well.

Dining
There are three dining facilities offered at this hotel. Cafe Willows is the multi cuisine restaurant which serves delectable mouthwatering dishes. It is of a regal setting and the service is warm and personalized. The Fusion Pub has an array of vintage vines and spirits which would be a connoisseur's delight. The cuisine served here is fusion, a quaint mix of Indian and Continental. All this is in a youthful backdrop of foot tapping music and soulful melodies. A dance floor, strobe lights and diffused lighting complete the sometimes required hip hop setting. Finally, there is the Fiesta Food Court, which is a self service fast food outlet and is reasonably priced. It is situated on a spacious terrace, commanding a grandstand roof top view of Shimla, making it an ideal venue for a barbecue and bonfire.

Hotel Facilities

There is also a health club and beauty parlour situated in the basement of this hotel. This area boasts of a well equipped gym, steam bath, cold showers, sauna and a Jacuzzi. The gym is free of cost for in-house guests whereas the other facilities can be availed at an extra cost.
