Hotel Vinayak Reviews, Coimbatore

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Hotel Vinayak, Coimbatore, the previous ones being in Oct '10. All the change I could see was only negative since my last visit. For instance, as soon as I reached the hotel after a long 5 hr drive, I got out of my car with the reservation voucher, and got to the receptionist (if he can be called such), he did not care to notice me and was busily doing calculations of some bill. After finishing those very important calculations, he looked up and asked me what I wanted. I showed him the reservation voucher and waited for his response. He said that I would get a double room with extra bed on the floor as per the voucher. I then warned him of action if he did not provide proper accommodation, following which he offered me a Triple non- a/c room as per the reservation.

Worst hotel, my sister and me went to that hotel but they don't allow me and her in same room. Not the safest place for girls.

It's ok not so bad. Roomboy done good job. There is no car lift anyway. Very good.

The room is very small and no room service and even no water is kept in the room.

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at.I had a big time fight with the hotel staff. The air conditioner was not working and bed sheets were very dirty.

Rooms are good. The hotel does not have any restaurant nor options to provide refreshments.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed during my entire career of 20 years. While checking in itself I was made to wait for 45 minutes just because they had given the room to some one else for freshening up. After that no service at all. The room service just terrible and I was just waiting to complete the day and get off since I had already made the payment. On checking out they charge me for an extra day just for one hour extra stay.

Our non air-conditioned room at Hotel Vinayak was immaculately clean, simply and restfully decorated and furnished, and wonderfully cool and quiet. Only 5 minutes walk from the Coimbatore Railway Station, but on a quiet back street with not much traffic. Just what we needed at the end of a long journey. Recommended.

It is good as far as location and staff are concerned, but the condition of the room is not very satisfactory. I faced problem in washroom first there was no hot water then suddenly cold water stopped coming, when I called the service guy, he told me that plumber will come at 8 am and I have to leave at 7 am.
