Hotel Victory Reviews, Shimla

Hotel De Park is best hotel in Shimla. There are all facilities available which are needed. Bedroom, washroom, meal everything is very good. Hotel staff is also very nice and cooperative. I enjoyed very much in this hotel. If I go to Shimla in future I will stay in this hotel. I suggest other people to prefer De Park hotel.

Hotel Victory was not available so they gave Hotel Taj Palace. Unlike the name their was nothing grand in it. Location is not good as it is almost 1.5 km away from Victory Tunnel. The reception lobby is very small and poorly done up. Request for early morning check in was turned down. The room was ok though the size was small. The bathroom was very clean and hot water supply was good. The stay was overall average for the price charged.

The rooms are not at all as per the standards, with this amount one can always look in for other much better options. Room maintenance and cleaning was the disappointment. The cafeteria doesnÂ’t provide you with the 24*7 services not even for the beverages. It is pretty far from Mall Road. The package doesnÂ’t include the single meal while in the same package meals option was available with the other hotels.

The hotel is well-located. One can get a very clear view of Mall Road throughout. But the room was not well-illuminated and was not spacious.

The staff of the hotel including the manager are the rudest of people I have ever met in the hospitality industry. I would never ever reccomend such a hotel to anybody.
