Hotel The Spark Reviews, Cochin

This is not a hotel, it is like an apartment. The hotel is appropriate for those who go in a group like 5-6 members.

Location was interior, and the hotel name was Shwas which made it difficult to look for. Rooms were dirty, so much of dust on the fan, lizard droppings on the floor, and worst of all the toilets were very smelly and stains on the tiles was a total turn off. Housekeeping staffs should be taught how to clean the toilet! and this was the first time that I experienced a rocking toilet bowl!

It was really very spacious, has lovely location and hotel services are really very good.

Hotel is basically apartment. We were staying in 1 BHK flat here. It was in good condition and spacious enough. Location wise is was 28 km away (1 hr travel by cab) from airport. It is inside residential area and not much restaurants are on walking distance. To get auto or something one would have to walk a lot to reach main road. Regarding services, they do not have clean drinking water available in room. Waiter himself tells water is not good please go with mineral water bottle. You would end up paying for it at higher rate than market and with extra room service charge on top of it. Another thing is AC bath-room water heater is tiny (1 ltr capacity) and one do not get to enjoy hot water shower bath. They do not have their own restaurant seating arrangement and only option is to order to room (with extra room service changes).

Hotel is ok..but will not recommend for a couple instead its good for a group as its a really a big flat....

The hotel is situated at Vytilla which is pretty close from the railway station but far from the airport. ItÂ’s a bit difficult to locate, but the rooms are very clean, spacious and well maintained. Sadly the service takes a lot of time, breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive, and hotel hired cabs are very costly, itÂ’s almost twice that of the normal ones. Overall the stay was pleasant as it was just a stopover, recommended for people who just need a place to stay for the day at a low cost.
