The hotel is located 1 kilometre from the railway station and bus stand and a 15 minute walk from the famous Mall Road.

Hotel Sukh Sagar is a very warm and welcoming property and stands as a lone structure in a quiet corner of Shimla on Circular Road. It was started in 2000 and is a well maintained, quaint property.

Lobby
On entering the hotel, the pretty green and white tiled flooring exudes a cool charm. A pretty chandelier at the centre on the ceiling illuminates this space after sunset. The windows along the length of one wall are adorned with floral curtains and they allow ample light to stream in during the day. A wood carved reception table is smart where it stands and in front of it is a comfortable seating space with brown patterned sofas. An elevator leads to the other floors in the building.

Rooms
A total of 22 rooms all enjoy a front view of the mountains and valleys. They are divided into categories of 6 Deluxe rooms which are the lowest category, 8 Super Deluxe rooms and 8 Honeymoon Suites. The rooms enjoy a mixture of carpeted and wooden flooring. All the Super Deluxe rooms and Honeymoon Suites also have bathtubs in the attached washrooms. Basically, the facilities are the same in all the rooms with the only difference lying in their sizes. The Honeymoon Suite has an added feature of a sofa cum bed along with a double bed. The facilities common to all the rooms are cable television, 24 hours hot & cold running water, telephone with STD connections and room service from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Dining
The hotel boasts ofAahar, the multi cuisine restaurant which offers an a la carte menu. A buffet is served when large groups are present and the occupancy is high. Breakfast (7:00 am to 11:00 am), lunch (1:00 pm to 3:00 pm) and dinner (7:00 pm to 10:30 pm) are served here. It is a small space with enough seating for around 25 people.
