Hotel Springfields Reviews, Shimla

Very far away from Mall road.

The hotel property is superb and same goes with the team serving you. The issue is with the way the property is being handled. The linen, carpets etc. were in a bad state. At least in the room we stayed this could have been a superb place to relax, in case these small things could be looked and take care off.

This is a very small heritage hotel (9 to 10 rooms). Location is not exactly as I was expecting. Service was very slow.

It was an awesome experience. The hotel is just great and property is remarkable. Kudos to the Springfields and great job done by Usha Lexus group. They make you people stay in a bungalow and make you feel royal. Keep it up!!!

A good heritage choice if you are on a budget. The place has plenty of character and the rooms are large. On the downside the beds are hard and the whole place could do with a bit of tlc.

It is located in Chhota Shimla quite far from the city. Quite a few amenities were missing considering the four star status. Avoid any cab booking through the hotel.

I was really impressed by the way Hotel Springfields has been maintained, it has stayed true to its English Manor like character. In this age of modernity, the room's fireplace and its classic Victorian furniture took us back in time to the days of Lord Curzon and the British Raj. We were made to feel like Lords and Ladies by the support staff. The hotel is located in Chota Shimla, which is close enough to be able to walk to The Shimla Mall and yet far enough to be able to enjoy pleasant peaceful evenings. I particularly enjoyed spending my mornings and evenings in the back garden of the hotel, doing nothing but gazing at the breath takingview of the Shimla region.

From the time we checked into the hotel and the time we checkout from the hotel, the whole experience in terms of hospitality, comfort, customer satisfaction is top of the world. Whenever I travel to the same destination I would like to stay in that very place and I must say that the whole experience of booking through MakeMyTrip was good enough to book through them everytime I plan my holidays and also recommend to my friend and relatives to book though MakeMyTrip as it's easy and value for Money. Thanks very much for making my holidays a memorable experience.

The hotel is located a couple of kilometers away from Shimla in Chotta Shimla and is at the edge of a road with a breathtaking scenery of the hills and skies. Even though a market is situated down the road, the hotspot of Shimla is about a 7 minute drive away. The hotel has lovely, quaint lawns with well kept plans and shrubs. The reception is an unassuming, limited space with a common room attached which is delightful with cosy furniture and a television. The rooms and washrooms are a bit of a letdown as they werenÂ’t as inviting as I expected. Room heaters were provided which werenÂ’t warm enough for the weather and the washroom geysers produced water at snailÂ’s pace which wasnÂ’t warm enough either. The food was run of the mill and the quality can be bettered. Otherwise, the hotel is a cheerful space but the rooms and bathrooms need to be improved.
