Hotel Snow Park Reviews, Manali

Stayed at Snow Park from 24 to 27 November 2011. Hotel was ok. Bathtub was quite used up with stain all over. Toilet basin was just ok with no cleaning during your stay. Room is big enough with curtains having deposited dust, One more thing, the hotel has no lift and if you get room on the above floors, then its painful. The hotel is also about 1 km from mall, so you need to pay auto Rs 50 to get there and Rs 50 for return journey. The manager was however quite helpful to help in room services and transport arrangement. Above all, its not that bad but better go for a hotel near the mall.

We went during the 1st week of April starting of summer season. However, the climate was very cold. They say that they are 3 star hotel but that there is no heater in the room. We were unable to sleep and we were shivering and finally my wife got cold.

Not met our expectation according to a 3 star grading.

The only thing 3-star about this hotel is perhaps the tariff that I paid. Otherwise, it is far from being called even a single star hotel. The rooms are pathetically small, toilets have no exhaust, hot water is available only for limited time. There are no heaters in the room. The only view that was available was a peep into the rooms of the neighbouring hotel. Food quality is no better and on top of all these the attitude of the front desk staff is not courteous at all. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

First day when we arrived at the Hotel, we were given a very small room for a family of 4. Room was in a bad condition, the beds and washrooms were stinking, the towels were just not up to the mark. Subsequently, when I complained the receptionist was apologetic and promised that he will change me to the family room which is what I had paid for. That room was little more spacious, but the room was stinking. Probably a smoker was using the room earlier, the bathroom was in a bad condition with commod seat not working, the towels were as usual. Service too was bad, we asked for a flask of hot water and it did not turn up at all. The worst was yet to come. The last day when I was suppose to check-out at 12 noon. I called up proactively to inform that I will be late by just 30 minutes as I was stuck in a traffic jam. The manager was very impolite, he told me that if I don't check-out the room by 12 noon sharp, they will use the master key and get my things out as others guests were waiting.
