Hotel Shompen Reviews, Port Blair

Very good.

Rooms were very old ones. There are lots of rats in the hotel. The beds seems to be also old ones. The location of the hotel is in the middle point of port blair and was very easy to reach other tourist spots. The service from the hotel was quit good. I suggest if you going to book rooms in this hotel then make sure you are not carrying any kind of food items into the room.

Hotel Shompen is in poor maintenance stage. Calling bell or intercom does not work, so to tell reception something, we were to get down from 3rd floor everytime. Poor water flow in hand wash basin. Fan is either off or in full flow. Food in the hotel is 50% costlier than nearby outside. However, staff behaviour is good and helping.
