Good Hotel, Nice location

The Location of the hotel couldn't be better. You can reach any tourist place in Mysore within 10 minutes. The rooms are good, not very spacious but ok and clean. The food is outstanding especially the Indian and Continental served at the Castle, one of their restaurants. The food however, is very expensive compared to other hotels in the nearby area but I would say its still worth it. (Note: I am a foodie) The pool is decent but did not seem like many people use it. The hotel staff is warm and helpful and yes, they are a little extra warm and extra helpful to the foreigners but thats the same everywhere in India. Overall a good hotel for the price you pay.

I think this is one of the best hotels in Mysore. They even arranged the cultural programs on the occasion of Dasahra, which was of very good quality. Hotel staff is very good! I would certainly recommend this hotel to others!

This was our second stay at this hotel as we had an exceptional experience the first time around. However this time we were left a bit disappointed. We changed our room the second day as the mattress seemed old and uncomfortable. In the second room, the hot/cold mixers were malfunctioning and there was only hot water coming from the taps. They sent a service guy who let the water running for 10 mins and then it cooled down. He said this happens if people aren't using the cold water (an argument that I didn't buy). He assured that the issue was fixed but it wasn't and it still started pouring out hot water after a few mins. They also need to soundproof the rooms especially the ones that overlook the parking lot as I was woken up in the middle of the night by loud sound of a vehicle that was reversing.On the plus side, location is pretty decent. Their breakfast buffet is good, staff is very helpful, they put in a lot of thought to improve guest experience.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city and in close proximity to places of interest. Although the hotel looks good, the people inside are really very lethargic to respond properly. The bathrooms are not well maintained and the complimentary breakfast was really very bad. They did not even bother to refill the items and we had to run behind the staff there. Overall it is not a value for money.

The hotel was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. This made our first trip to Mysore very pleasant and will probalby not be our last. We would love to stay at this hotel again in the future.

The facilities in this hotel are fantastic - pool, spa, cocktail bar, coffee shop, travel desk and 2 restaurants. The buffet breakfast was good (south indian stuff fab; western stuff a bit disappointing) and the rooms spacious and clean, and the staff all immaculate and very attentive. The only issue we had was (male) cleaners walking in on us whilst we were changing one morning, without knocking, which we felt was a serious breach of trust & privacy but we took it directly to the Duty Manager who dealt with it immediately. No safe in the room, which seemed strange for such a good hotel. Laundry service cheap and efficient - overall we were really happy staying here and could have stayed longer, had our itinerary allowed.
