Hotel Sai Prakash Reviews, Hyderabad

The only positive aspect that I can possibly think of is the hotel's proximity to the railway station. With Hotel Sai Prakash being a budget hotel, I knew better not to expect anything fancy. However, budget or not, there is no excuse for dirty and smelly rooms coupled with lousy service. The room had cockroaches, a very dirty floor and wet bed sheets. My wife was to run the Hyderabad Marathon on 28/08/2011. So we had to travel to Yousufguda to complete some of the registration formalities. While leaving, I spoke to the folks at the reception and asked for the room to be cleaned and they promised to do so. Somehow I was sure that nothing would be done and so I arranged for a different accommodation and came back in the evening to check-out. Sure enough, the floor was dirty as ever. I sincerely wish Makemytrip would take some effort to avoid advertising these sub-standard hotels on its website!

The hotel was good but the room allotted to me was not maintained well, the flush and hot water was not available when it was required. To make things worst, the flush stops working at 10 PM till morning.

It was very embarassing, because of the dirty rooms, toilets not flushing, all electricals in extremly bad shape,.This hotel needs to upgraded in terms of maintainence and housekeeping.

There were more than 4 lamps in the room with only 1 working. Poor lighting overall in the room. The walls had visible patches and the bed spread too. From outside the hotel looks good, the reception is excellent, the location was comfortable for me.

Hotel room maintenance needs improvement.

Room lighting & bathroom need to improved for customer satisfaction.

Receptionist was very bad, without seeing the receipt he was talking nonsense. He didn't even return the change, he was not a hotel boy who takes tip. I knew this hotel some years back and was in the same assumption and came to know that it's pretty useless now. Don't know how they got 3 stars!

The location of this hotel is good and the rooms are well done-up. However the washroom is small and leaky. Also there were mosquitoes in my room initially.

A good hotel for a budget traveller. The rooms are hygienic and the service is prompt. But the location is not good and the lack of maintenance prevents it from having a good ambiance.

Best service provided @ economical price.
