Value for money hotel. Not many channels though on TV, but I got a room with big LCD TV. I would expect ET, CNBCTV18 channels which were not available. Internet speed was reasonable.

The Hotel Raj Park stunned me with its cleanliness, affordability, class, attentiveness of staff, and food. The location was excellent, being no more than a Rs 50 auto-rickshaw ride from anywhere in City Center. And last, but most certainly not least, the complimentary buffet breakfast was superb, giving a good spread of choices between continental, western, and eastern foods. All together a wonderful hotel, and since we had gone to Chennai for U.S. Consulate work, very-very convenient. I give this place 5/5 stars in all respects.

This hotel is excellent value for money on a business trip. I have recommended this hotel for use by our company executives on business trips to Chennai; two executives have already stayed after me and both are very satisfied.

Simple check-in process, and the hotel is located on prime place. Easy and fast access to shopping complexes and malls, Hotel room was neat and clean - had very good experience. I would stay there again and recommend to others.

The hotel is overall good.In an adjacent room repair work was going on,which was creating a lot of disturbance.I think they should not assign rooms near to rooms under repair.Thanks.

A lot seems to have changed at the hotel, since I first stayed there 4 years ago. The cutlery has gone melamine, the lift got stuck and the bathroom plumbing was leaking. They did not give the free Wi-Fi they were supposed to give (they gave a one hour coupon), the breakfast menu was run down and so on. I can see a management change to save costs.

Breakfast was as usual found in other hotel, status also can be considered ok. Lovable. Staff/attendants were not much clear about their role, though able to deliver on insisting.

My wife and I had booked transit bookings in Hotel Raj Park on our way to Trivandrum and Colombo. We stayed two nights on our way to and from our final destination. On our way out we were given a room in the back building which houses the gym and the swimming pool. While the room was clean and nicely kept, it was on the smaller side. Baths were clean. We used the gym which was not very well equipped, but ok for a workout. No disposable glasses in the gym - so beware! We did not use the pool but it is really tiny. We ordered dosas in the room that were promptly served hot. The breakfast was quite average though and could have been better. The usual bondas, dosas, upuma etc that one would expect in Chennai. Those of you who like your ham and sausages for breakfast will be disappointed. We took their airport transfer which is for Rs 700 and is good value for money in an AC car. Shops and ATMs abound in the region and this is no issue at all. On the whole, a good hotel for the price I paid.

The hotel is hardly a 4 star place. At best its 3 stars and at worst 2.5. There was a cockroach in my room.

The hotel service was paid and not of worth of money paid. The amenities mentioned online were not provided. Paying money should not be a problem if the service is satisfactory but I felt the services is not worth to the amount paid.

Absolute pathetic management. I was handled very badly for an issue of early check in and I ended up paying Rs 2200 just for an addition stay of 3 hours.
