Hotel Premier Reviews, Jammu

The location of the hotel is very good. Although the hotel staff were helpful, but the room service was not satisfactory. I keep on calling at room service no.301 since 6.25 am onwards for a cup of tea, but somehow the call was attended around 7.35 am. Overall needs improvement in services and housekeeping. It is also suggested to the Hotel Management to maintain the rooms, washrooms. The hanger of washroom was so dirty that some of the wet cloths I put for drying but found all the cloths get so dirty that I need to send for dry cleaning. Hanger was not cleaned properly. Room also was too dirty, dust can be seen all around. The bathroom was smelling like anything. In nutshell, itÂ’s far beyond the name we heard of Premier Hotel Group.

The location of Hotel Premier is excellent. On Residency Road, very close to shops. Cafe Coffee Day & Sagar Ratna (for vegetarians) are attached. Just half a km walk will take you to all kinds of shops – which will let you take a nice walk in the evening/ night. Also, very famous Raghunath Temple is just 10 min walk away. Early morning visit was great. Food at this hotel is just about OK. Try the in-house Kashmiri restaurant – it has some good dishes. However, don’t expect very good taste or service. The A\C in the room was not working and the team could not just repair it. Though I paid for an A\C room, I had to do without the A\C. Geysers, etc will be switched on when told to.

The hotel is located at an area most suited to business travellers. But the service aspect of the hotel needs to be improved. On the day of check-in no one came to see whether the towels are in bathroom or not (which was not present). The drinking water was not present. Fan was not working. These small things are taken for granted as basic hotel amenities. But these were found lacking in the hotel although when hotel staff was conveyed about these deficiencies then only it was removed.
