Hotel Peninsula Grand Overview - Mumbai Don't let the madness of Saki Naka Junction put you off. The moment you enter Hotel Peninsula Grand, you cut out all the noise and pollution of outside and are calmed by lavish interiors and discreet service. The rooms are immensely relaxing very well appointed, and the hotel offers a host of other services too. Done in all glass and granite, the lobby is adorned with faux waterfalls and palms, murals and art deco chandeliers.

Rooms
81 rooms at the hotel are divided into Superior, Deluxe and Suite categories. The Suites are divided into Executive suite, Platinum Suite, Presidential suite and Amore suite, which is the honeymoon suite.

All the rooms have amenities such as air conditioning, LCD television, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee maker, electronic safe, electronic key, mini bar and Wi-Fi (chargeable), study table and guest slippers. All the washrooms are appointed with bathtub, hair dryer and other amenities such as soap, shampoo, shower cap, bath gel, body lotion, dental kit, shaving kit, shaving mirror and telephone. Done up in similar cream and khaki decor, Superior and Deluxe rooms have similar amenities, Deluxe only being larger than Superior rooms.

The Suites are impeccable with state of the art facilities and stunning decor, offering the ultimate in luxury. The Amore Suite has been designed keeping honeymoon couples in mind and it is a very, very large room done in soothing shades of white and grey. A cushy bed with spring mattresses and comfortable couches are present in the room in addition to standard facilities. The highlights of the room are a relaxing massage chair and a musical Jacuzzi in the washroom, which itself is very swanky, done in all glass.

The Executive suites are the base suite category, but mot opulent and spacious than the other rooms. As you enter, there is a living area here with a coffee table, sofa cum bed, mini bar, tea/coffee maker and a bar area with stools. The bed area has a massage chair along with other amenities such as guest slippers, telephone, television and a study table.

Platinum suites comprise a living room and a master bedroom. The living room is appointed with a 42" LCD television, cushy couches, dining table, mini bar, tea/coffee maker and a telephone as well as an attached washroom. The decor is all chocolate and khaki with thick carpets of the floor. The bedroom is superbly appointed too, with a massage chair, a writing table, television and telephone. A larger washroom is attached to the bedroom with similar amenities.

Presidential Suites are the most opulent of the lot, very luxurious, and very spacious. As you enter, there is small lobby with a wet tissue dispenser here, which opens into a roomy living room with bar stools on the extreme left corner and sofa unit on the right. The bar stools are supplemented by a mini bar and tea/coffee maker. The attraction here is an ultra modern massage chair. Crystal chandeliers and a 42" television add to the luxury factor. The living room has an attached washroom.

The bedroom is very spacious too with a smaller flat screen television set, writing table, a treadmill and cupboard with electronic locker. The lobby leading to the attached washroom has a refrigerator. The washroom is large with a shower cubicle as well as a bathtub. The amenities remain the same as all other categories.

Dining & Facilities
Hotel Peninsula Grand has an array of dining options. Vividha is the Indian restaurant, prettily done up with murals and funky chandeliers. Pan Street serves Oriental cuisine, serving Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian, Korean as well as Japanese with a Teppanyaki counter. Contemporary decor blends with a hint of the orient to make a ambience here. Carafe is the hotel's 24-hour coffee shop while another restaurant on the rooftop is attractive at night when you can watch flights take off and land from here.

The hotel is big on conferences and parties and offers a wide variety of options. The banquet hall can be divided into three individual halls, the total capacity being 10 - 300 people. The hall on the sixth floor can accommodate up to 10 - 700 people while the rooftop restaurant can accommodate 10 - 700 people. Besides this, Hotel Peninsula Grand has four more conference halls called Garnet I, II, III and IV, and another larger conference hall called Concorde.

The entire hotel is Wi-Fi enabled (chargeable). The hotel's spacious parking lot can accommodate up to 150 cars. Other facilities include airport/station transfers (chargeable), laundry service etc.

Hotel Peninsula Grand is located right on the Saki Naka Junction near Andheri East. Popular restaurants such as Mainland China and the famous Hard Rock Cafe are in close vicinity.
