Hotel Mount View Reviews, Dalhousie

This was total wastage of my money. I booked a classic suite and the room I got (room no. 7) was anything but a suite. It was only big and nothing else was special about it. Washroom had a broken wash basin, fridge was having cockroaches in it, switch board was loose from wall, tiles was missing from skirting, Overnight rain resulted in filling of water in drawing room, front reception guy was pathetic when i asked him in annoyance if he had anything worse he said no. Can you believe this. Calling make my trip resulted in change of my room that too after a wait of 2 hours. Only saving grace was food that also if you are not paying for it and is included in your room. Imagine a piece of mineral water bottle for 50/- I would not recommend anyone this hotel. If food is your major concern then you can go for it with all my best wishes and concern.

The hotel location appears to be good for having good views of hills & valleys. The food is excellent and servise is very good. The rooms are OK, but linen quality was very bad. Considering the qualitry & service of food which is the most important requirement of any tourist, the hotel can spend few extra buck to improve linen.

Value for money except few things related to room condition. I booked a suite but room was not like a suite.

Hotel has nice location and view of the mountains. It has very decent packages and worthy buffet system with a decent amount of varieties. However room service is sometimes very pathetic as you need to call twice or thrice.

The hotel was surprisingly a great value for money. Hospitality was fabulous, upkeep of the property simply unbelievable, decor and maintenance superb. The icing on the cake was the terrace, full of a variety of flowers and plants. Staff were courteous, food yummy and room very spacious and well-appointed. Complimentary tea service was great. Above all, the travel assistance provided by the hotel was of great help. The hotel turned out to be much beyond expectation.

Good hotel with beautiful garden. Evening bonfire with Himachali songs was a nice add on.

It's got a good view, people are nice and location is perfect. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is centrally located and provides some breath taking views. We were surprised when the hotel staff also inluded dinner along with breakfast in the package. Way to go!!

Hotel is well placed in Dalhousie. The services are satisfactory and the room conditions are great. It is a fun place to check in and spend a holiday.
