Worst service ever experienced

The hotel is 3km from the bus stand at the boundary of the city on Conoor Road, very close to the Wax Museum. We checked in at around 8:00pm and the rooms given to us were very very spacious. But... 1) they were very very badly lit (none of the tubes were working), 2) there was no remote for the TV (provided on asking) and the channel altering button was broken, 3) the channel signals were mostly garbled 4) the TV connection was a local cable and not a satellite one (I did not expect it to be so either), 5) drinking water was being served from the taps in their kitchen restaurant which I am sure is from the same water supply as the bathroom water, 6) there was a serious dearth of hotel housekeeping and restaurant staff (anything you ask for took at least 30 mins if not more to reach you). This was probably because of the rush of tourists during the season. The hotel staff were courteous though. I later found out that there were much better hotels that could be found for the same price.
