Bad manager

This is a sad hotel that tries very hard to be something that it clearly is not. The rooms have furnishings similar to an upscale hotel, but look beyond the surface and you will see it is only because everything was purchased from the garage sale of a 5 star hotel. Toiletries are hotel branded but the bottles are reused, and hotel name is faded on them. There is a bath tub in the bathroom but it clearly shows its age. I didnt go expecting much, but its the pretence and arrogance of this hotel that made my stay unpleasant.I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check in time but was rudely asked to wait and not even offered a glass of water.In the evening I had to go out and it started raining heavily. The hotel couldn't offer arrange an umbrella and I had to pay Rs.250 for a 500 m journey.1 good thing - Breakfast and the staff there.

Service and staff very courteous, professional. Clean and well maintained. Did not provide the complimentary tooth brush/toothpaste as mentioned in their website. Breakfast was very nice. Room service too. Expected complimentary ride from Airport or at least provide provision to book taxi from IXD to hotel.

Though the hotel looked decent the service was poor. Right from the receptionist who was not very communicative to the waiters in the dining hall who didn't bother even though we were one of the few guests having breakfast. Though two of us were sharing the room, we had to ask for towels and floor mats. The bathroom tap did not have running hot water ( hot water in the wash basin only from 5-7 in the morning!) and the water remained stagnant as the floor sloped away from the drain, leaving it impossible for the second person to have a bath. Despite asking for a broom to sweep out the water it was never provided. The bed linen had hair on it and looked dirty. All in all rather disappointing.

Very very bad service. Staff is arrogant, water taps leak, fans make noise, food is very expensive.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The service and food was quite good. My only gripe is that after a bath at the Sangam we wanted our clothes to be dried. The housekeeping took the clothes for laundry instead of just drying and charged us for that. But overall we were satisfied and we will certainly opt fot the hotel.

Overall a good hotel with an above expectation service. I would recommend it.

The time when we checked-in the person at the counter could have been more friendly. He was good but seemed disinterested. The room we were initially given i.e. Room No.210 had some smell, some ligths were not working, bathroom wash basin tap was loose. So we asked for a change and were given Room no.211, it was ok. Bathroom needs total overhaul. I informed the reception about that. Otherwise the staff was good. Non-vegetarian food at the restaurant was very good. Conveniently located close to railway station and the High Court, it has many advantages.

Excellent rooms with all the 5star aminities ! I think this is the most Important thing and I would certainly recommend for this.
