Location
Centrally located on Race Course Road, Hotel Maurya is literally across the street from the Race Course and 4 kms from M.G. Road, 4 kms from Cubbon Park, 3.5 kms from Vidhan Soudha and 4 kms from the City Palace. The new Bengaluru International Airport is approximately 35-40 kms away.

The 15-year-old Hotel Maurya is one of the older, more traditional business hotels in Bangalore. The hotel offers 120 clean and comfortable rooms over six floors, of which there are combinations of 60 Standard non air-conditioned and air-conditioned rooms, 40 air-conditioned Deluxe and semi-Deluxe rooms and 20 air-conditioned Executive rooms.

Rooms
The Deluxe rooms, available with a single bed or twin beds, offer a great view of the Race Course across the street. The bathroom with a bathtub comes with basic toiletries like soap, shampoo and lotion. The semi-Deluxe rooms are larger and divided by a sliding wooden door into a seating area with a television and a bedroom, also with a television and sofa and an attached bathroom.

The recently renovated Deluxe Suites are modern in decor with wooden flooring, a leather sofa and chairs, study table and a king size bed. In contrast to the large room, the bathroom is relatively small and is the same as the other Deluxe rooms with the exception of a wall telephone.

Dining
The hotel prides itself in being a 100% vegetarian establishment and Taamara, the multi cuisine restaurant offers a variety of reasonably priced North and South Indian and snacks.

Guest services include 24 hour room service, chargeable Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms, laundry service, complimentary safe deposit lockers at the hotel reception, doctor-on-call and travel desk. Hotel Maurya also has conference and banquet facilities for up to 300 guests.

Don't Miss
Make sure to visit the hotel's rooftop from where you get a 360 degree view of the Race Course. The green lawns alongside the terracotta coloured tracks are especially vibrant on a race day.
