Average hotel .

Location is very good but it at hieghts and need to climb which is not good for everyone. Hotel Service need to be improved.(when I reached, no one was there to attend at reception and no one was there to carry luggages). Rest is okay

Room service staff was good and helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent, view from the hotel window was mesmerizing, apart from the view there was no other better thing about the hotel. Hotel front office staff was poorly trained, lacking proper etiquette. There was no hanger available in the wardrobe, when asked than they provided. There was no toiletries available.

I visited mussoori in Jun 2011. I stayed in this hotel for one night, booked Luxury room which cost me 3600/-. If you are looking for quality and luxury please avoid this hotel. Hotel location is very good on the mall road and very near to rope way this is the only good point I found during my stay in this hotel. Bath tub is good but it takes 2 hours to fill the hot water in it because of geyser was taking to much time. Room service was good but food was tasteless. I saw fungus near the tube lists. Lift was not working. The owner/Manger of the hotel charge extra service tax despite of full room payment was give to makemytrip in advance. He also added extra tea charges in final bill which he reversed after discussion. Overall experience was not good and we have move to another Heritage hotel next day.

We advise- the hotel need renovation. The rooms have no plug points - when we needed to charge our mobiles and digital camera cells, we had to remove the refrigerator point. I have only one concern with the hotel management. i have pre checkin, that is paid for half day charges more. when i asked to provide me bill of early checkin management denied and told me that your booking is done via makemytrip so i can not give you bill for pre checkin charges. as per my thinking this not fare with me because pre checkin charge is collected by hotel directly.

Overall it is a good hotel. maintinance, food and reception are good. internet, perhaps is most expensive when compared to other net cafes in mussorrie. they chaged rs. 60 for less than hour- much more than in the market. should be watchful while paying food bill. i am charged for items which i have not taken. amount may be less and it may be by mistake only, but still it is an issue of credibility and trust. they do not have the practice of get it signed after order is served. this system may be good for the management.

The hotel was quite comfortable - clean rooms, bed, bathrooms towels; and working television, refrigerator, lights and fans. The view from the large hotel windows was very good. One could see Musoorie in its entirety and even twinkling Dehradun at night. The hotel has an elevator which was a great help, coming back from the long walks in Musoorie. The room service was also efficient - meals arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, and all of the menu was available. The rooms have no plug points - when we needed to charge our mobiles and digital camera cells, we had to remove the refrigerator and television cabinet and unplug these devices and then charge our cells/mobiles. There is a plug point in the bathroom but there should be one in the room too. The waiters seem a bit greedy for tips - three of them, standing in a row waiting for tips near the counter. Once our stay was over and we had tipped them pretty generously, one of them came back and asked for more tips on behalf of another.
