Situated adjacent to the bus stand and office of the taxi union, Hotel Kumar's enjoys a convenient location. It is a hop away from the tourist information centre and just 2 kms away from Gandhi Chowk, the main market area in Dalhousie. The hotel enjoys proximity to all places of tourist interest, in and around town. The nearest railway station and airport are at Pathankot, 80 kms away.

A long white building standing adjacent to the bus stand, Hotel Kumar's is ideal for a comfortable holiday. A 2 storey structure, it welcomes guests into a quiet and cosy lobby that is elegantly furnished with comfortable sofas and has a glass wall on one side, which offers a clear view of the road and the market square.

Rooms
The hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 42 rooms that are divided into 5 Standard rooms, 2 Four Bedded rooms, 23 Deluxe rooms and 12 Luxury rooms. Each room is equipped with an intercom telephone, cable television, dressing table and cupboard. The attached washrooms are equally well appointed with a geyser, soap, shampoo, moisturiser, talcum powder and linen. While all rooms are carpeted, Deluxe rooms feature a sofa with centre table and the Luxury rooms have a separate sitting area and a balcony, in addition to all other amenities.

Dining
The multi cuisine restaurant at Hotel Kumar's serves delectable Indian and Chinese cuisines besides select continental fare like pizzas. It is open for breakfast (7:30 am - 10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm - 2:30 pm) and dinner (7:30 pm - 10:30 pm). The room service menu is the same as that of the restaurant and it is available from 7 am to 11 pm.

Services & Facilities
Conference/banquet facilities are offered in a spacious well equipped hall that can seat 75 guests in a U-shape arrangement and can accommodate up to 200 guests in theatre style seating arrangement.

For recreation, the hotel organises sightseeing tours, trekking and bonfire nights. At a charge of Rs. 50 for half an hour, guests can enjoy a game of pool at the pool table placed in the restaurant.
