Everything about the hotel is fine,except the food arrangements. .

The rooms were literally dirty with no regular cleaning. Out of three days the room was cleaned only once at check-in and that too not properly. Irregular hot water facility and extremely small rooms.

Room service is on time and of good standard. Cutlery and Crockery needs to change from green colour. Location is nice. Wonderful view from room. Hotel staff is courteous towards your demands n inquiry. The only problem is the foot path towards the hotel. It is situated on the hill and no transportation is allowed. But once you go through with this walking distance you will feel good. Otherwise all good.

The location is good if you want a hotel just 5 mins away from the a main ridge area. Rooms remain extremely cold in winters; would suggest people to arrange for a good heater. They serve good hot milk for breakfast which is a relief. Kitchen is open till 10 pm . If you are looking for standard basic living conditions with no luxury attached, it is a decent choice.

Just to add to my comments the hotel staff is avaiable only after 7:30 am, so in case u get up before that don't even think of getting a bed tea.

View from rooms was very good. Service was okay. Food pricing was economical but quality needs bit improvement. Bathrooms had no ventilation - that was the worst point. Window opens in corridor, so privacy is a concern. Location is good (close to mall and other central locations) but there is a steep climb to the hotel. Overall, slightly less value for money than expected, but not too bad.

Except location of hotel everything of hotel is poor. It looks like Mumbai chawl and rooms condition is pathetic and above that hotel service is worst.

Better rooms were available for similar rent in the town. Rooms water heating solely solar power based, therefore no hot water available in cloudy climate during entire our stay.

1. They dont even give a bottle of mineral water when you walk in. They provide water in a jug that has been around for sometime. 2. The rooms are unused for a long time and there is no periodic maintenance. Could make that out from the smell 3. The floors are shabby and the toilet/bathroom poor 4. The beds/blankets are pathetic 5. Room service will ring the bell once and if you take sometime to open the door, they just open and walk in. 6. The food has foul smell and not suitable for human consumption.

We had selected Luxury Super Deluxe means the highest rated room for 2 days. Spend almost Rs. 3900 for that. Though no heater was in the room so we had paid extra 300 for that. Also in our voucher welcome drink and fruit basket were included which we had not received. After talking to hotel staff they had deducted only hundred bucks for that & taken 200 bucks for heater. Also room condition was not so good as we can pay 2000 bucks per day in which we can get better hotel in Shimla.

It is located on a very high hill and takes a long walk to reach there. No vehicles go there as it is a restricted area, but the view from the hotel is totally worth it.
