Hotel Doegar Reviews, Shimla

Doegar is very good. Its like a home away home. I like this hotel very much. Every person of this hotel is very polite & friendly.

Though hotel arranged for pick from the parking point on arrival, however was surprised to know on checkout that they wonÂ’t give a drop to parking place. Gave me an impression that staff was cordial and warm on our arrival.

Poor management.

The hotel was in a great, quiet location just off the main mall area, great view, very nice owner and staff, and good chai! The service was great. I arrived very early in the AM after an all-night bus ride, and they gave me a room to rest in until mine was ready. The remaining 3 days, the staff was always very helpful, and I had the sense I could trust their honesty, which is not always the case when traveling in India. For the budget price, the rooms were quite fine, very clean, and you can't ask for much more.

Hotel was good

It is located in a high place. So we were tired when we reached the room.

Great location. Close to Mall Road. Convenient of site seeing.

Rooms are very small and not easy to locate without the help of the hotel people who are very money minded. And the hotel is very expensive compared to the facility.
