It's a fresh new hotel. Everything is sparkling new. It's a veg hotel which is owned and operated by KP Namboothiris, an ayurvedic products company. I booked a standard room which is spacious but the wash basin is outside the bathroom. Service was good and courteous staff.

I had actually booked at a different hotel but due to unavailability of accommodation, my booking was shifted to this one through Make My Trip. This hotel is not a good idea if your visit is centered around the Temple. This place is around 19Km away from the temple and an Auto Hire would cost you 150-180Rs. If you have a vehicle and do not mind the drive, then this place is great. The property is a renovated traditional Kerala Mana. Based on the Nalukettu Building Principle. They have only 7 Rooms but very well maintained. The cleanliness and maintenance standard goes for the entire hotel. There is also an Ayurvedic Treatment center within the property. I'm not sure if you can opt for customized treatments but the ones offered by them require a minimum of 3 days' stay. It’s pretty expensive as well. The staff is very kind and helping. There are two restaurants within this property. They serve a range of cuisine, but be warned authentic taste on vegetarian dishes is hard to come by.
