Hotel City Plaza 7 Reviews, Chandigarh

The hotel is located close to station, we stayed for 1 night only as we had morning train to catch. This hotel is Real value for money.

Services were just ok. Food was pathetic. we booked two rooms, in both breakfast was included. When we ordered breakfast in morning, he argued (almost fought with us) that we should order less as there is limit on the breakfast. It was really very shocking to us. we paid 400 rs just for one room breakfast. There was no heater provided by the hotel, we had to suffer as we had our baby with us who is just 8 months old.

It is just a conveniently located mediocre hotel. Alone females would get a weird feeling as all the rooms windows are facing towards the lobby no natural light. Only recommended for bachelors, or sales people.

Location was convenient, I was told to go to city plaza 17 as my room was booked in city plaza 7, though actually it was a blessing in disguise because 17 was closer to where i had to go. Slight confusion initially, the hotal people could have arranged for my transfer to the new place as i was not initimated of the change in hotel location. they actually arranged for breakfast at 6.30 in the morning as they promised. I am very happy with that prompt service. Saved me the hassle of going out in search of food so early in the morning. All in all, a satisfactory experience with no much hassles.

A clean and professionally managed hotel in sector 7. Rooms were comfortable with fan and A.C, clean beds and bedding, hot and cold water and plasma screen TV - though no English channels. Staff were friendly and food from room service was good and reasonably priced.

The city has two hotels by the same name. I was taken to a different place in sector 17 only to be told that I have to go to sector 7. For a tourist a word of caution on such issues can be a big time saver as well as money saver.

The staff was helpful and the food was excellent and reasonably priced . The room service was very good. I would label this hotel a 3-star hotel.

Overall good hotel. Rooms are bigger, service is above average. I would rate it somewhere around 3.2
