Hotel Chandela Reviews, Khajuraho

Chandela is one of the best maintained and managed Hotels I have stayed in. The staff are extremely courteous and managed all our requests with a friendly smile. The credit should go to the General Manager Mr. Cariappa and his staff. I will reccommend this hotel for my friends and family to stay when they visit Khajuraho.

Hotel is value of money, the staff is very courteous and smiling the food is very good. I like the hotel and it's hospitality very much. The bottom line is that the experience is really a home away from home.

Hotel is just great. I got a good off season price and it was a steal. Pool is great. Only issue is they switch off hot water supply and you need to call them before stepping into shower. Found it strange for a five star hotel. It happened quite a few times. Front desk person made a personal remark that I didn't like.

The people at checkin and checkout need to be best trained.

Hotel Chandela was a wonderful experience in hospitality. In fact, looking back the stay was so smooth and comfortable that it enhanced the quality of my trip. The room I had was pool facing and the sound of the waterbody was comforting. The lawns are well kept and rooms are neat. The staff is courteous and efficient.

When it comes to a hotel what is it that makes you yell WOW !! Great hospitality (the General Manager taking care of you every time you meet him. Customised meals (believe me the chef De Partie just did it every time). Extremely helpful staff with a genuine smile every time. Well Chandela has all of this and more. I better know as my wife and self stayed there 4 nights. For those who donÂ’t believe my advice is please try and you will then believe all that I have said.

The hotel was great and the staff was particularly good, efficient and really helpful.
