Hotel Baba Palace Reviews, Udaipur

Very shabbily maintained. Room carpet too dirty, TV was not working. No bed side lighting. Room service too bad.

Centrally located, room was not 'ready' when we arrived - the bathroom hadn't been cleaned when we were shown around. Limited breakfast - pleasant roof top dining.

Hotel location is very good. Dinner was very tasty and at reasonable price

Hotel was good. It was placed in center of all the tourist spots and the room was clean. Only problem is there that no hot water. Overall hotel was good.

The location was terrific! Close to City Palace, Jagdish Mandir, Bagore Haveli - all so close. High value for the location. However, the hotel room was not the greatest. I had to ask them to redo the sheets. When I first pulled back the sheet, there was hair and particles on the sheets. The sheets were kind of clean but the stains were old. They need new sheets!! The rug outside the bathroom was so crummy and old, ugh. The bathroom - I had to clean - the seat had a fresh stain and a hair, the sink had not been cleaned, but I was so tired by this time, I cleaned it all myself. GROSS!!! The staff was nice. The free breakfast was okay. No view from the Deluxe AC room. TV was below average. The AC worked well, but the bathroom window was just screened in, so the bathroom was really hot. Will not stay here again. Had great lunches at the Jagat Niwas Palace hotel restaurant. Views from that hotel were magnificent

Hotel Baba Palace is very good one. The service is excellent and there is a very nice roof restaurant.

The Hotel rooms were not reserved for us. While asked the manager refused to show us the standard rooms so as to confirm that the room allocated to us was deluxe type.

Baba Palace is located very nicely (at walking distance from City Palace, Pichola Lake and Bagore ki Haveli). The hotel staff was very co-operative and friendly.
