Hotel Hilltop Palace Reviews, Udaipur

The hotel is in a nice place ,but u must contact the hotel for a pic up so that u start a tour very smoothly. The stuff were very much promt and well mannered,service was excellent. Breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our visit there. The room condition was very good but bathtub was not in the bathroom. house keeping is excellent. Towels and bed sheets changed everyday . We stayed in a lake facing delux room , view from room was breathtaking and relaxtation to our eyes. We will visit this hotel again if we go udaipur in future. It was a pleasant stay there.

Not worth the money spent. No newspaper in the room. Food was expensive.

Hotel is too good, lake view rooms are simply awesome! Staff is very co-operative. We reached very early morning and they provided room without asking us to wait. Restaurant is also good, little bit costly as compared to other options but quality is really good. Location of hotel is just perfect. Rooftop bar is great, from the terrace you can get perfect 360 degree view of the city. Fateh Sagar lake, Swaroop-Sagar lage and surroundings are really beautiful to see from terrace of the hotel. Watching sunset from their rooftop bar is also a great experience. Room service is also great. We did not get enough time to use swimming pool but it was really clean, they provide you food and drinks in garden too, you can enjoy your time in garden facing Fateh Sagar lake. Over all a great experience with the hotel and it is highly recommended!

The hotel is well maintained and nicely kept. But the only problem we faced was because of the laziness of the staff. We booked hotel in advance and reached to the site by 2'o Clock and still by that time room was not ready and it took 30 min for them to prepare the room. A bit more active staff could have given them 5 out of 5 stars.

Good location, but the room allotted was facing swimming pool. The main attraction of Udaipur is lakes in the monsoon and if you select a hotel near the lakes hoping to get a view of it, then this is partially true for this hotel. On request we were accommodated in a small room (for 4 persons) with a little view of lake from the balcony.

Very pleasant location, good service and wonderful food.

Best value for money. The lake view room with swing was very good with spacious bathroom with bath tub. Nice, Hill top's location gives excellent view at night. Food was also good. Staff was very helpful.

The hotel's location overlooking Fatehsagar Lake makes the evenings and morning breathtaking. It was wet and rainy when we stayed there, but the warmth of the service made up for it.

Rooms are quite spacious with good infrastructure. It provides a peaceful environment. Restaurant is good and clean.
