The hotel is 10 minutes by foot from the lake and temples - while you can get there fast, you are away from the noise of the city. it was incredibly quiet, the hotel had big spaces - big room, big bathroom, big hallways, a swimming pool. it was a really nice break for us who just arrived from (rather crowded and dirty) Jaipur. the view from the balcony alone is worth all the money. The only downside is that the staff was not always very warm or smiling, but on the other hand we did not have any problems with them either. The room was cleaner than an average Indian hotel room, the sheets were also clean, we had hot water & breakfast included, nothing more to expect from a mid-range Indian hotel.
