The hotel was extremely well located. Due to which all places around are easily accessible. The owners go out of the way to help. Some constraints like room service etc are there but, understandable considering that it is a small set up. Good facilities and excellent maintenance. We had a completely homely experience in a hotel setting at the heart of the town. Recommended.

The only word I have for the experience I had is ‘Excellent’. Excellent hospitality from the host. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. It was much better then, what I was expecting earlier. Its worth the every penny you pay. A warm thx for such a nice hospitality.

Gowri Niwas is a tastefully decorated ancestral home where the hosts Bopanna and Muthu exude warmth and comfort to ensure that you carry only positive memories of your vacation. One of the most attractive aspects of staying in a home stay is that apart from gaining from the knowledge and expertise of the locals you also get to see a glimpse of their culture and cuisine. Gowri scores handsomely in that regard. Not only are the rooms very tastefully decorated they are also independently situated from the residence of the hosts thereby providing the sense of space that one seeks in a vacation. The home stay is located at a very vantage position - close to Raja's seat in Madikere making it an ideal spot for someone who would like to venture into nearby areas of Madikere but too far from the city itself. Highly recommended for the hosts' warmth and excellent cuisine.
