We always come Goa for a day for just clubbing, Titos lane was walkable distance from this place, seafood is worth trying. overall we had a good time, thanks to all the staff of Ginger Tree

I have visited Goa more than 6 times now and I always stay in north Goa, close to Baga and Calangute beaches and I must say the location of Ginger Tree was the best. Beach was around 6 mins walk, do not expect room to be very lavish but its definitely value for money. We spend almost 4 hrs in there roof top swimming pool which was our best experience in the hotel, the staff is honest and swift coz I forgot my purse in the room drawer during my checkout, and before I even realized that my purse is missing they called me back to the hotel and gave my purse back. I just had a booking of 1 night, will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends. Cheers to Ginger Tree and thanks to MakeMyTrip.

It was really great to stay in Ginger Tree Beach Resort for 3 nights and 4 days. Staffs are very friendly. I would like to name Mr. Sagar and Mr. Anoop among them. They added value with their smiling face, always helping attitude etc. The attached balcony with my room was great. Food is too good in this Hotel. Free Breakfast was a part of our package and we all liked the food. Other than that we ordered lunch and dinner from Hotel Restaurant and we got real testy food. Hotel swimming pool is a great attraction here. it is on the terrace and you can see Calangute beach from the pool. The Hotel arrange all transportation like Bike, Car, site seeing etc which is very helpful. They got their own Night club attached to this Hotel where you will get good music, drinks etc. The Hotel is very near to Calangute beach and you can reach there by walk. We really enjoyed our stay in Goa Ginger Tree Beach Resort and I will recommend this Hotel. Thanks

Location of the hotel is very good. ItÂ’s between Baga & Calangute beaches. Breakfast was like home. Room service was good. I really recommend my friends to stay there.

Services were too good. Right from taxi for pick & drop. Only problem that we faced is waiting for long time for check in which they really need to be planned from first. Remaining no issues. Good to go.

This is not a 5 star hotel but I must ask the tourist why do you need to stay in a 5 star hotel or 3 star hotel unless your status demands it. In my opinion followings are the objective of holidaying in Goa: 1. Relax on the beach with the food and bear of your test. Calangut beach is on the door step of this hotel and the attraction of Baga beach is 10 minutes walk away. 2. Come out of the hotel and you are on the main Calangut Baga road, alongside of road is located the market where you have series of restourants and shops of your choice. Stay here is total satisfaction.

From the description and name of the hotel, it gives an impression of a big hotel, but actually it is not. e.g. the gym is a 6 feet by 12 feet room only. The swimming pool water was dirty.

Having value for money in mind, also knowing that in Goa, you will be out of hotel for most of the time, this hotel was Sstisfactory. Inexpensive, location-good, you get hired bikes and eating joints around you, and Calangute and Baga Beach are next to you. You can party all night and easily come back to the hotel. Hotel amenities were basic and OK.

This hotel was placed in between two of the most famous beaches in Goa, Calangute and Baga. You can see the sea from the top floor and the beach is just walkable distance (5 mins). I would recommend this hotel for stay as it is easily accessible and affordable. But the overall conditions should improve a bit more to get the real value for money.

Improper room service and the swimming pool was open from 6.30am to 9.30am and from 4.30pm to 10.30pm. there is no use of swiming pool fron 8.30am to 6.30pm

The hotel was located in an awesome location and was very easy to move around as all the happening things are that side of Goa. The service in the hotel was very average. People at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful but the rest of the service was not great. I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget trip and do not plan to spend too much time in the hotel.

If you want to just sleep and keep and place for luggage then this is GOOD. However if you want to enjoy the luxury stay then this is not the place to stay. Basic things were missing like door mat/bath mat, toiletries. Otherwise it is not a bad place to stay and recommend for people who just need a place to sleep /bath and keep luggage.

The location of the hotel was good, just 5 minutes walking from Calengute and Baga beaches. The roms service was poor. We had to leave early morning at 5 am, the lift was not working the! We had to drag a member of the staff from his bed to get the luggage.

Well the good thing about this hotel is its location. close to the calangut (max 500 mtr) and baga beach( less than 700 mtr) .The look of the hotel is average, has a side entry. rooms are spacious but dimly lighted, poorly managed, old tv with old style cable with very few channels, no hot water, complementary breakfast restricted to 'puri bhaji(o.k.) and unpalatable 'upma'. you should take this hotel only if you have money constrains and not getting anything else.

Hotel is good in terms of cleaniness and staff attitude.The rooms were not good and the lights are too dim. Rooms/hotel ambience do not match with goa. Market, beach, disco are nearby. It isn't great value for money.

The hotel was shabby with insufficient lighting. The package included one day sightseeing but the front desk coolly said that tickets of a tourist bus will be provided only. There was to be no provision of lunch on way though my package included all meals. The service was very poor as there was highly insufficient manpower.

Lousy place, bad rooms, no hot water, pathetic service, patches on each wall, dirty bedsheets. Its not worth the money that you pay. I wouldn't mind staying in this place, if I was paying half the money but certainly not with the money that I paid. People are pretty rude, you don't get much of service. You order things, and you get after long wait. Evenings you dont get hot water. Basically not worth it. Stay away from this place. I would say if you don't have any other option think about this ten times. I would say if you have tents put them near any beach and enjoy your stay. Don't venture into this place, you will waste your money.

Room condition was really bad..cracked walls, bad lenin and bathroom condition. I asked to arrange for taxi and inspite of informing them well in advance and upon their agreement to arrange for a taxi pick up at railway station, they failed to do so and I had to arrange taxi on my own at the railway station.

Hotel has only two plus points, itÂ’s location and its food prepared and served by well trained cook and waiters. Apart from that everything else is pathetic. For a couple they gave a room with two separate beds. Can you believe that? Hotel Staff is not at all co operative. Rooms are not clean at all. Very old furniture. Needs total renovation. Restaurant does not have a single fan. Ambiance is not so attractive.

To start with the rooms were not up to the mark. There were cracks all over the walls etc. The bed sheets, though not dirty, had permanent stains and so did the mattresses. No soap, toilet paper etc. in the toilet. The staff were friendly but not efficient. Hot water is available only after 10 AM as the solar water heater does not work before that. No power backup, of the two nights I stayed there was no power one night for about 3-4 hours. The Room service starts very late, so you can forget about bed tea before 8:30 AM. Worst was that there is no water in the toilets before about 7 AM. They start the pump only after 7 AM, so if you need to use the loo before that luck needs to be on your side. If you call the reception early mornings or late nights there is never a response. The hotel is 500 mts from the beach, but that is only if you are going to the beach during the day, as after dark you will not be able to use that road as it seems very secluded and dark. Not recommended to stay.

Quality of the hotel and service sucks. Rooms stink, and its no where near to have the 2 star rating. Its a road side 3rd class hotel. Only advantage has been near to the Calagunte Beach. Otherwise its not worth to stay. Now I understood why booking done as non refundable. Because looking at the rooms no family person would like to stay. Its not worth for your money.

This was hell of the time i had ever spend in a hotel. The front office guys were not even bothered to pick up phones, we arrived somewhere around 9 in the evening and being with family in such A BEACH RESORT was nightmare in Goa, we refused to check in the room and asked them if they have any better rooms in hotel but all of them were awful. The rooms were disgusting, toilet was not cleaned, the whitewash in room had almost lost itself from the walls, the bedding was also dirty...we told the housekeeping to give us clean bedsheet atleast but all in vain. We tried to check for some other place nearby, but all nearby accomodations were full or they were chips of same block. We spend six hours at the beach although we were tired of the travel.
