Pros: 1. Excellent location. Away from crowd and beautiful views. We really liked this. 2. You can directly walk to "Triveni Ghat" from the hotel's rear gate. We did walk in an evening and it was good experience. Cons: 1. Hotel is under rennovation and dust is everyehere. Hotel doesn't care to clean it up on a regular basis. 2. Food did not have variety and buffet breakfast was very ordinary. 3. Overpriced. Overall, we would not like to repeat our mistakes and would not prefer to choose this hotel again.

The hotel has an amazing location right next to the river Ganga. The view is sensational. It was a disappointment to learn that renovation is ongoing and there is no information about this, especially to travelleres making their bookings online. To complicate matters we were told that there was a potential power problem as their generator had conked out and the repairs were difficult that day. being very skeptical, we were pleasantly surprised that the renovation work did not create any problem for us during our stay and the power problem was minimised by the management. What won us over was the food and room service which was great.

Quite well but a bit far from downtown.

The hotel is bang on the Ganga and fortunately, the Ganga is very clean at that point. The walk along the Ganga in front of the hotel is very refreshing. Each room has good view of the Ganga. The restaurant is sited very nicely and overlooks the Ganga river. Locating the Hotel on the night of our arrival was tough. The Hotel had no road signs to lead us up to it. The facade of the Hotel was not lit up and hardly had any boards with its name for recognition at night. On top of that we had a 'grumbling' taxi driver, highly irritated over our inability to guide him to the hotel location in the night. And the locals whom we/he asked had no idea where it was. All in all, a good hotel with a very nice location.

This hotel caters mainly to foreign package tourist and therefore there were less occupancy during our stay due to recession and other causes, and it reflected on the standards. The hotel needed painting and maintenance as walls were stained and tablecloths dirty. There was no hot water available for the major part of the day and even otherwise it was lukewarm. Air conditioner was ineffective. The only positive point was the staff who are excellent and the food is good. Location is fantastic and you get a view of Ganges from your room, direct. Ayurvedic Masseur is fantastic. If you are domestic traveller ask for first floor room which have a common terrace with fantastic view and are generally allotted to foreigners.
