I reached the hotel with some difficulty as I was not aware of its Location. However, the hotel reception was very nice and guided me to reach the hotel whenever I contacted them for direction. Few things that really struck me were: 1) The Location - Absolutely brilliant. Bang on river Hoogly. 2) Service - Very Nice. Right from check-in till check -out. The guys were thorough professionals and very courteous. 2) Room Service: Very prompt and efficient. In-fact I was served my complementary breakfast in the room free of cost when I expressed my inability to come to the restaurant. 4) House-keeping: super behavior. In-fact I have never seen any house-keeping staff visiting a guest twice to check if they need something. This is something new to me and I liked it. 5) Food: Very delicious and very well cooked. The variety of food for breakfast was really a surprise as I was expecting a toast with butter and coffee as complementary breakfast and not the complete spread. I WILL VISIT AGAIN.

The hotel has a very pleasant appearance and the location is excellent. the rooms are cosy and neatly designed. the view from the room was excellent. the staff is very well-trained, helpful and sincere. we could not enjoy our stay fully due to ucertainty of flight operation and had to cut short our stay. wake up call was given eexactly at 4.00 am. they assisted us by calling a good cab for airport. we were provided packed breakfast even at such early hour. full marks to Floatel.

Only one drawback that the hotel were not having the tourist cars or cabs, but hotel arranged for a/c car and the charges charged by the hotel was exorbitant almost double as understood from local travel agencies. Please offer these kind of services so that the trips could become really good memories, recommendable and not a comment making one on the last day that also only for the petty expenses.

Responce of reception and duty manager very poor.They never revert back on any matter and never bothered at all about any issue. 15% discount was only given on food while no discount on bevarages. Staff seems to be having no experience on how to deal with corporate guests.

The room was just too small, the bathroom too. Bad Insulation, which means that the room is just too noisy. Room Service hopelessly slow. Getting a toast sandwich took almost an hour.
