The stay at the hotel was the best decision of my trip. It is true value for money. The location is superb for trek lovers. The surrounding is peaceful. Rooms are very spacious. Rooms are clean and neat. Towels are clean as well (I had bad experience at other hotel in ooty). I had booked 3 rooms. You get a bed room with one double bed, one single bed and a TV, one hall with 2 cots and a kitchen like area. Bathroom has a geyser. Food is prepared fresh on request and served in the room. Rates are very reasonable. 2 Dinner, 1 Lunch and 2 Beakfast for 6 peoples costed me only 2000rs. The staff is very very friendly. They booked taxi for Ooty/coonoor/pykara trip at very reasonable rates. After the trip, we were taken to shopping places and we reached back at 7:30pm (most sight seeing places in ooty close between 5 to 6:30 pm) on both days making most of our time (without additional cost). It is bit far from the city (3 kms) but I had my own vehicle.

I would recommend this hotel to every traveler to Ooty, nice and clean rooms great service and fantastic location, they just need to work on food and a 24hrs restaurant. It seems it would be up and running in Feb 2011. The manager is Suresh and he would make all possible efforts to make sure that you have a great stay, we were impressed by way he conducted our business. Also special mention here is Prem, the cab guy if you are not driving he would be great help in taking you around.

Location of the hotel is fabulous. It is on top of a hill and provides a panoramic view of the valley below. It has a very well maintained garden where you can simply sit the whole day and enjoy the lovely scenery. The house is well maintained with antique furniture trying to capture the mood of the times and Delightz Inn Holmes theme. Rooms are standard and comfortable. In a hotel like this you generally do not spend too much time in the room and so a standard setup is fine. The food was very good. The hotel people were very courteous and helpful. The location of this hotel is great.

Delightz Inn Hotel is 4km away from Ooty town on top of hill in a scenic location. The advantage is that you get fresh air to breathe and a calm place to stay but disadvantage is you don’t get public transport and need to use hotel's vehicle. Hence commuting becomes bit expensive and advance planning. If you are going by own vehicle then it is a very good place to stay. Service staffs are courteous and food is very good and hygiene. My overall feedback is, it is worth the money you spend.

The hotel is located at a place ideal for a vacation as it is placed on top of a small hill, so no traffic or noise to disturb your calm. And the descend takes you directly to the heart of the city, so quite easy to move around. The service offered was good and the staff was very responsive. Definitely would choose the same hotel for my future stays.

There wasn't much choice of food. You need to tell them in advance in the evening if you want to have dinner. Also, no snacks available with tea.

The hotel is a 2.5km climb of the Tiger Hill road. Best to have own vehicle. It is a nice place to stay. They provide only cottages with a study, small kitchen counter, wash/toilet, and a bedroom. Spacious - can accommodate a small family. Clean bed sheets/toilet. Food is made to order, so you'll have to pre-order at least an hr in advance. But, quality of food is good. The place has a very nice view of the tiger hill. It is about 400-500 meters above Ooty town (very close to Dodda Betta). So, temperatures dip another 3-4 degrees as you go up. What makes this place an absolute delight is the service of the staff. Polite and helpful, they could improve this place further by providing chairs in the rooms, room heaters by default (instead of on request). But, overall - a very satisfying and value for money place. This is my 5th trip to Ooty, and have stayed in more expensive places and this easily is the most satisfying stay.

The hotel was good, but I would only recommend it to people who go to Ooty with their own vehicle or else it would not be possible for them to even find it out. However the cordiality and hospitality of the staff compensated for this.

Overall a decent place to stay. Actually there were two rooms; it was in fact large for a family of three. If more than 4 people plan to stay together this might be a good place. A few minor issues: > Room heater is not available, thought it was listed in the brochure. > Complimentary Breakfast was not arranged properly. Too many guests were waiting for the food to be ready > Road leading up to the resort was a little bad, not terrible though. > Could keep the bathrooms a little more cleaner

When I reached Delightz Inn, my bag was moved into a room which was horrifying. The paint of every room was peeling off and the room had spider webs all around. To add to this there was repair for geyser going on. When I said to them about this on phone they said there was no other room to offer. However when I decided this was not going to work out and conveyed them that I will be moving to city and find other hotel, they offered change to a decent cottage. If this was looked after beforehand I would have appreciated. Cleanliness; toilets bathroom, dust wiping needs improvement. Morning, the hot water from geyser was not satisfactory, the power is not designed for peak load. Service was really good, food too was good, breakfast was OK. It was offered in the front lawm. Both the day I had idlies.

Spacious rooms. Value for money, not luxurious though. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ooty town. Need own vehicle to go to town. Service is good.

The location of the hotel is quite good and the view is amazing. The location is a bit secluded, but provides a good view from top. However, one needs to have his/her own vehicle to commute to city center. The services are good, the staff courteous and furnishing quite decent - a good value for money location esp for large group. However, the food quality needs to be upgraded - more so as there are not many good eateries nearby. Overall, I would say a good experience - what is journey otherwise if not a few challenges !

Hotel is 5 km from main bus stand and located at a hill with no pollution, and pleasant atmosphere. One can enjoy a natural beauty from the hotel.
