Good size clean rooms with a fairly modern bathroom. Nice place for a comfortable stay in Srinagar. Staff is very helpful. Food is very average and probably the only negative.

Our experience overall in the hotel was not very satisfactory due to various reasons. The service was very slow and the management had to be constantly reminded of small things like hot water in the bathroom etc. The food served was just above satisfactory.

Need to improve food quality and Rooms Features & Amenities

The hotel room, food and service is excellent. The only concern is about the location of the hotel, a bit far from market, Dal Lake.

Hot water and heating was not available 24 hours. This is a big disadvantage for tourists. The excuse given by the hotel was that the occupancy of the hotel was low and hence the heating and hot water was not available 24 hrs. Also, the hotel staff was reluctant to provide adequate quantity of bread toast, juices, parotha etc.

Hotel is newly built in 2010. Rooms are spacious with good furniture and decor. Bathroom is also nice. All staff - Front office, house-keeping and restaurant are polite and attends call quickly. Restaurant serves good Kashmir and other north India food. Not far from Dal Lake either, auto/taxi ride takes 10 minutes.

The hotel is a newly made property and well made modern one but due to strike there was hardly any staff and restaurant was also closed hence no food.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and were very happy. It is located away from the noisy, crowded Dal area and close to the Jhelum riverside and Residency road market. Most of the rooms have an excellent view of the snow-capped mountains. The staff are very courteous, helpful and smiling. The food is tasty and wholesome. The room service was prompt and appropriate. Other than Wi-Fi, all other amenities were as promised. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
