Good property but far off from Shimla. it takes around 35mins to Mall road in Shimla.

Hotel has a serious problem with respect to AC. Rooms don't have AC. However sun directly opens onto the east facing rooms, thereby making the rooms very hot. This is a major drawback and hotel had to provide us with a floor fan for comfort. Also hotel location is quite isolated. There is nothing to do outside the hotel unless you take a car and are willing to drive at least 10 kms. Staff is friendly (particulary Cheshta and Anirban) and helpful. Food is good. Right now there are no serious indoor activities at the hotel but the hotel is the in the process of setting this up. Dont plan on spending more than 2-3 days at this location.

The hotel is nice, food is very good and rooms are very good too. But the problem is there is nothing you can do here, there are no balconies, no place to sit outside and enjoy the weather. You are stuck between the four walls with glasses. Its a good place for families but if you want to enjoy the weather, find some solace, this place is not good for you.

Check-in process is a torture. When you make prior booking why should we wait 2 hours to get room, not acceptable. Also cab services are a rip-off.
