We had booked for a suite on makemytrip, but were initially given a hotel unit with no dry kitchentte facility. We had to argue with the lady at the front desk named Shalya who does not probably know how to smile. Then after much arguement, when we were given a suite room as per our e-booking, the door lock was not functional, and that ate up 30 minutes of our time. So we were effectively held up for 45 minutes without getting a chance to use any toilet or urinal facility. Our room phone was also such that whenever someone wanted to give us a call they heard an engaged tone even the phone was properly placed in its socket.

The best location property to have your vacation without any doubts about the management of property. If you go with kids they won't come back as you schedule, nice.. nice..nice place to spend your holiday.

This is one of the best Club Mahindra resorts I have visited. The resort is huge with big activity center and swimming pool. Being a strict vegetarian, I especially liked their separate vegetarian buffet which din't even serve eggs.

It was a wonderful experience in terms of facilities and amenities as far as the room and the resort is concerned. The resort is well built, huge with lot of activities to do. The walk in and around the resort during the night time was specially charming. Food in the resort was not that great though. A little improvement in that area will help a lot. Also wifi in the room will also be appreciated.

Club Mahindra at Coorg is a right place for families to stay away from the daily busy routine activities. Good location combined with variety of food and sightseeing options makes one's holidaying a memorable one. Early morning mist along with occasional rain must be experienced once in a lifetime.

I was not given the booked room and was told that we were being upgraded. I suspect we were actually being downgraded since we paid the money in advance.

An excellent heart-warming hospitality at Coorg.

Excellently landscaped. Lots of recreational options provided for all age groups. Varieties of cuisine. Arrangement of airport / railway transfers. Reasonably priced tours - just Rs. 300 per head. One of the best hotels in Coorg. They also have a store to buy tea / coffee / groceries / souvenirs. Excellent service and excellent hospitality. One can spend an entire week in the resort, without being step out and not get bored.

It was easily one of the best holidays i ever had. Club Mahindra resort is just too good, and we dint feel like going out at all. In fact we went to only very few places outside as the resort itself has enough attractions inside it. And also they arrange various trips from the resort. We started early morning from Bangalore and reached there by afternoon. The route we took was Bangalore-Mandya-Srirangapatna (dont go towards Mysore from here, take the bypass)-Hunsur-Kushalnagar-Madikeri-Resort. If you want to visit Mysore also you can take the route Bangalore-Mandya-Srirangapatna-mysore-Kushalnagar-Madikeri-Resort. The road from Bangalore to Kushalnagar is excellent. It is smooth as glass and you can drive at 100kmph. But it is hopelessly bad from Kushalnagar to resort, which is approximately 35 KM. So be prepared to drive for more than an hour for those 35 KM. Once you reach Madikeri there are enough signboards to direct u to the resort. So no need to worry about not knowing the routes. Inside the resort, the ambience is good, service is first class and privacy and space is excellent. The staff is very courteous too. There is a spa inside the resort which we tried and it was nice. There are 4-5 restaurants inside the resort but food is on the costlier side and there are no hotels outside. They have buffet 3 times a day and the dinner buffet i took was reasonably good. They arrange trips to various parts of the Coorg at day time and also they even have a night out Coorg trip but all these are paid services. But if you want to hire a cab and roam around the places, taxi agencies are available at right side of the resort main entrance. At Madikeri you can see abbey falls, Omkeshwara temple, raja seat, an old fort etc. All these are in 10KM radius of the resort. And if u r ready to drive that hopeless road to Kushalnagar(35KM) again, u can watch golden temple, Nisarghadhama, elephant camp etc. Rather than driving again while staying in the resort, u can watch places around Kushalnagar while returning, which is what we did. Overall it was a really nice trip. The only thing you need to be careful about is that it's a 5-star resort and the charges (shopping, stay, food, spa, trips etc) inside the resort are on the costlier side and luxury tax and service taxes will be added to everything. But believe me, it's worth it!
