Clifftop Club, Auli

A marvel of civil engineering, the Cliff Top Club has been built on inhospitable terrain over years of labour coupled with traditional and innovative techniques. The warm hospitality however belies the inhospitable conditions and provides experience that is unlike any other.

The road from Joshimath to Clifftop Club (17 Km) is a steep climb from about 5000 feet to 10,000 feet above sea level. The steep gradient coupled with ice on the road makes it unfit for vehicles other than a sturdy four-wheel drive. During winters (from December end till mid March) the motor road from Joshimath to Auli is not operational due to heavy snowfall. Cable car is the only mode of transportation from Joshimath to Auli.

Room Amenities
The resort has 43 spacious, well-furnished categorised into 25 Studios, 16 One Bedroom units and 2 Two Bedroom Family units. All units are furnished with a sofa-cum-bed and partial kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and hob with four burners. All units have a television with satellite connections, telephones and kerosene and oil heat radiators.

Dining
The resort has multi-cuisine indoor restaurant with outdoor decks serving a delectable range of breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also enjoy evening barbecue snacks on request. The resort will soon have a bar as well. Gala evenings with live entertainment and bonfire nights are also organised.
