This resort is located 10,000 ft above sea level. It is surrounded by snow capped mountains. We visited the place in January. There was snow everywhere. We had a wonderful time on the ski slopes. The hotel provides facilities for skiing with instructors for novices. One can also go trekking along the snow capped mountains. There is a cable car from Joshimath. This cable car was under maintenance. So we had to reach the hotel by road. Here are some tips to tourists wanting to go to this resort The 3 km stretch of road leading to the resort is in an appalling state. Incidents of vehicles breaking down on this stretch are common. If you wish to reach the resort by road, take a sturdy vehicle (not a small car). The main attraction in this resort is snow. In January you have lot of opportunities for skiing. Trekking through the snow will also be a wonderful experience. However, I wonder what tourists will find in this resort in summer.

Had a great time at the Clifftop Club! Will certainly visit the place again...
