Camp Chrysalid is situated at Maheshu Village in Shimla district, around 36 km away from the hill station of Shimla. The nearest airport is Jubberhatti Airport, approximately 26 km from Shimla, while the nearest railhead is Shimla Railway Station, about 40 km away.

Rooms
There are 20 Double fly waterproof canvas tents (10 x 12 ft) at Camp Chrysalid pitched on permanent base having 2 doors and 4 roll up windows. All tents are tastefully furnished with twin-beds, insulated ground sheet, a small rack and a laptop point. Each tent has a separate 10 x 5 ft large washroom with washbasin and a large mirror. Besides essential bathroom toiletries, the attached washrooms have hot and cold running water supply.
Dining
Camp Chrysalid has a well equipped kitchen with in-house cook, who prepare delectable foods for guests. The menu of the camp has been especially prepared keeping in mind the nutritional aspects and varied tastes of guests. Food is served to guests in buffet style in the dining area overlooking the camp and picturesque mountains. Meal timings are fixed and guests are provided the information about the same on arrival.
Conferences & Banquets
'Baithak' is the beautiful conference hall of Camp Chrysalid, which can be utilised to organise conferences or business meets. Built in a traditional Himachali style, the conference hall covers an area of 770 sq feet and its can accommodate 50 guests in oval shape and around 70-80 guests in theatre style.
