Chonor House is located near the Thekchen Choling Temple adjacent to the Dalai Lama's residence, in Mcleodganj. Mcleodganj is approximately 24 km from the Kangra Gaggal Airport, 260 km from the Chandigarh Airport, and 100 km from the Pathankot Railway Station.

Established in 1993, Chonor House is a traditional Tibetian Guest Housethat offers visitors to Dharamshala comfortable accommodation, as well as a variety of efficient services and modern facilities, all at reasonable prices.

Rooms
The 11 well-appointed rooms at Chonor House are comfortable and spacious, complete with modern amenities. Each of the rooms is bright and cheery, and has a unique design, layout, as well as traditional Tibetan decoration. In-room amenities include: work-desk and chair, direct dialling telephones, wardrobe, and attached bathroom with 24 hour hot and cold water. Rooms are air-conditioned during the summer, and centrally heated during the winter.
