Hotel Charing Cross Reviews, Ooty

The room is in excellent location. Its situated in the centre of the city. The Botanical garden is only 200m, just 5 mins walk from the Hotel floor. Good thing is that the Hotel has a restaurant and being in the middle of the city, there is lots of shops to go ahead for shopping . The room I checked in, the locks were not working at ease but was later given a different room to settle in. Overall I recommend this hotel.

This hotel I would never recommend to anyone. I am not sure how makemytrip has such kind of hotel in the booking list. Following are the problems that I faced during my stay: 1.No water in the bathroom 2.No electricity for hours 3.Bed was broken in room 224, then after long fight they moved me to room 217 4.No drinking water 5.Service was pathetic 6.I requested them for feedback form and they bluntly refused to give me any feed back form 7.I am sure my feedback will be taken care by makemy trip

There is no hot water, worst room service.

I have visited many of the hotels for the holidays with my family directly, conditions of the hotel and service of the hotels was 70% good condition. Very poor facilities but the staff was very polite this is not enough for the guest.

Not satisfactory .

Room was not clean, we need to ask for everything like towels, soaps, drinking water, I stayed 2 days here and they have not cleaned the room on 2nd day, I had to remind them 3 times to clean the room, also I had requested more than 10 times for hot water to take bath.

Room Service is very poor. No hot water in the bathroom. No room service, no phones. Room was clean at the time of check in but no one came to clean the room thereafter. Just the advantage is Hotel Location is good. Otherwise we are very dissatisfied with there services.
