It is located nearby central railway station, this area is damn crowded but the condition of hotel is damn good. We opted for executive room, which was clean and neat. Room condition was good, A/C was in good condition and toilets were very clean and fitted with modern fittings, especially the shower impressed me lot. Room service was also good and we use to find room everyday clean and bedsheets been changed. It is a bit costly but true value for money. Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel has to slightly improve the taste of food particularly breakfast. Breakfast taste is far good in some of the established hotels in Chennai.

Overall a great experience - worth the money. Pros: Nice hotel staff, who are polite, great room - very clean and great for the money we paid. Satisfactory breakfast every morning inclusive in the room charges. Good variety of food at their multicusine restaurant. Ideal location, right opposite the Chennai Central Railway Station. I also got a great deal to see all tourist attractions in Chennai and Mahabalipuram in a private AC taxi for 10 hours along with my son for a total cost below 1500 rupees. The driver Jegan was extremely knowledgeable and polite - highly recommended. The only thing that we missed were good english movie channels on TV, but if you know the local languages they had a good variety of Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi channels plus Pogo and Sony Pix movie channel and all major news channels. But of course if you are going to be busy with the entertainment outside the hotel, then this wont be a problem at all. Highly recommended 3 star hotel at moderate budget at prime location.

The hotel is opposite to the Chennai Central Railway station and requires you to go across the road via subway to reach. Very convenient location with accessibility at any time of the day or night. Me and my wife were allocated a double room on the 5th floor. The room and the attached bathroom was neat and clean. Even though the room felt slightly small for the price, since we had to stay for only a day, it didn't really matter. The corridors were also neat except for the smell of the cigarette smoke eminating mysteriously from nowhere. The room service was extra quick for us since we could converse in Tamil and we enjoyed the delicious food. We missed the complimentary buffet breakfast as we had to rush on work at 6 AM. Even though the check-out time was 12 PM, they gave us grace time until 2 PM to vacate the room. Overall a very good experience.

On reaching the hotel the reception was good and with minimal formalities we were given the room. The hotel and rooms were all clean and neat. The washroom is good with hot water. One can select this hotel with confidence.

Excellent location and courteous staff, in fact one of the staff members accompanied us to the railway station, since it was 2:30.AM in the morning and we were apprehensive about traveling to the station at such an unearthly hour!!

I went with great apprehensions but believe me, the Front Office staff including room boy were extremely helpful and deserve good appreciation. It is difficult to believe that such a good hotel exists in such a chaotic location!

The hotel is located at a very convenient place close to the Chennai Central Station. You just need to walk down the subway to reach the place. The rooms are pretty good. There can be improvements in the housekeeping services as I had to call the housekeeping everytime for water, sweeping the floor, changing bed sheets. Also the hotel should put some effort in educating the front desk. They seem to have no clue about the city. Anything which I ask they said we don't know.

The location and services are really good except for a few instances where there was no hot water in the afternoon and some small flies in the bathroom. Food was really good and we enjoyed it. Services were prompt whenever needed. Overall it was good experience and value for money. I can recomment this to my friends as I enjoyed every part of my stay there.

Reception is good and friendly natured. Hotel atmosphere is good even it located at heavy floating area. Room service should be improve. Room service people need to develop command on other regional languages Housekeeping service should be improved a lot. Food is good but it's not up to the mark for the money paying for. Even IÂ’m saying some defects on the hotel, but all the defects are negligible.

ItÂ’s the best location if you have work in central Chennai. Even the food and the room provided was good but the room service is worst you can ever get. The behaviour of hotel staff is totally unprofessional.

The hotel was very well maintained. Rooms were clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Excellent location if you want to be in the centre of Chennai; convenient to use local trains, close to Marina Beach, etc. However, the neighbourhood is not clean if you are the type to go for walks. Overall, great value for money. Breakfast is rather ordinary. The staff at the restaurant are not well trained, they kept trying to bill (charge) us although breakfast was included in the booking. Finally, it is a wonder that they actually have parking for a few cars in such a location!

The hotel entrance was very good. The reception staff courteous enough. The lift not working so had to use kitchen lift which was not in good state. The room was arranged very well. The hot water supply was not available to the room and ask for help to the service. The service team attended the request in 20 minutes. The hotel staff was good and extended their service in certain cases e.g. check-in at morning 7:30, delivering extra towels, allowing us to sit in reception area though we checked-out.

Clean, newish, decent-sized rooms, good bathroom, dozens of TV channels. Efficient. Splendid smiling, welcoming staff at reception and throughout: not always the case in Indian 3 star properties!

The hotel's lady receptionist is not at all friendly and her suspecting is more than anything. I was along with a friend for a seminar and unfortunately has to stay in that hotel. She frequently use to call us to inform about the time when we will vacate the room. Besides she does not have a proper attitude at all. I don't know why the hotel management has chosen her as the receptionist.

It is a centrally located boutique hotel - well suited for the budget business traveller. All basic amenities are available. However, the breakfast menu is same everyday with only one dish is changed, breakfast menu should be changed daily.

The hotel was very good, neat inside and the rooms were clean and spacious, the toilets were clean. The restaurant was not good, but you have very good places to eat around the hotel within just 2mins walking distance. So, overall i am happy with the hotel.

Location is very good. Initially there was a problem in service - we had booked two rooms and they were giving us rooms on separate floors which was difficult for us since we had two small children and since both rooms were on one booking id they should have been on one floor. Finally they agreed to do it (which means that the room had been empty and they were just not giving it). Service was good. We got hot water etc as asked. Bed-sheet in one room had black marks (not washed properly). They had given only one towel in each room but gave additional one promptly when asked. Wake up call was also on time.

Central Tower is right in the center of chennai city. 5 minutes walk from Chennai Central Railway Station makes it an attractive stay for quick travellers. I would recommend it for bachelors and family. Not a place for honeymooners or romantic getaways. Services are average but ok for a normal stay. Room service is quick. The restaurant serves simple breakfast without any frills. I found the bathrooms to be neat and clean. So is the room as a whole. I find Central Tower an upgrade of an ordinary stay but not upto a star level. The reception staff goes by rules and will not do anything that are special requests. So do not expect lots of help from them in any matter. I find the biggest advantage of this hotel to be a good stay for a bachelor / family who just wants a good and safe place to put up in the night.

The only advantage with this hotel is its proximity to Chennai Central Station. Breakfast service needs a lot of improvement. Room tariff is also very high for the service and comfort.

Centrally locatedclose to the railway station is the only positive about the hotel. Wish the room was half as good as the reception. We checked-in for a transit stay of two hours. Its best suited only for that. At Rs.1500 for Standard Room it expensive as the room is too cramped for space and is very dirty. Air-conditioner didnÂ’t work well either, not recommended for a long stay.

We two couple were made to wait for 40 minutes to check in saying that the rooms are being cleaned. This was horrifying since we had reached after 14 hours train journey. The rooms given were the one generally not given to couple (separate single bed). Broken toilet seat, and roof patched with plywood (Room No.403).

I am just too shocked that I stayed at such a pathetic hotel for the first time in my life. Harrowing experience. Un-courteous staff, lifts were not working and had to climb up n down to 5th floor for 2 days, food not up to the mark...! After my first night at the hotel as power went off several times and there was no back-up, I requested them for refund for the second night but they refused so had no choice but to stay there.

The only advantage of the hotel was its proximity to central railway station. The quality of the food was poor. Did not accept payment by credit card - The reason given was "Bank Holiday" which was surprising.

There were dead cockroaches in the room which were still there after the room service people had left. We had to ask for two fresh towels in a room that is classed as deluxe double because they would only provide one. We had to ask them to turn on the hot water every time in a hotel that boasted of 24 hour hot water. The only time we tried their food we realized that even simple vegetarian fare can be messed up. The service was prompt but it was needed so many times to get toiletries, towels, hot water because, apparently, they are only provided on demand. The reception was decidedly impersonal, the location terrible (just a minute away from puddles of urine on the side walk). The view from the room was basically a man taking a bath in the open. There were newspapers and kettles on the stairwell, the lift smelled of sweat, breakfast was part of the service but we were happy to pass. In summary, we wished we stayed at the railway station which, thankfully, was right opposite.
