Great hotel. We had a view of the Dal Lake from the floor-to-ceiling windows in both rooms of our suite. The room opened onto a beautiful lawn which was less than a stone's throw away from the lake. Very helpful and kind staff. The room could have been better, but it wasn't bad at all.

Hotel location was excellent. Hotel maintenance, staff services were very helpful, anytime, anywhere and with a pleasant and smiling face. Staff from lower to top level was highly caring in each and every wish of ours. I and my wife Dr Neera Chandra really appreciate overall services provided. Location of hotel is at just like a picnic spot. Garden of hotel and interior decoration of hotel compelled us to take more than 20 photographs in hotel itself. Hotel staff helped us in taking photos with humorous feelings. Food was appreciable and I specially thank them for very tasty Aloo and Gobhi Paratha which gives 100% homely taste. To stay at Centaur Lake View Hotel was memorable, admirable and highly recommended.

Excellent location probably the best for any tourist. Well maintained lawn on the lake side which offers a great view and experience. The staff is very helpful. The services and the facilities are very good. The construction seems to be old and needs some touch up job. The room service menu should include some economical dishes.

Located at the bank of picturesque Dal Lake, our stay was made pleasant by the excellent service of the Hotel staff. If we decide to visit Kashmir again we may opt for this hotel.

Located on the banks of Dal Lake, hotel offers panoramic view of Himalayas on one side and vast expanse of Dal Lake on other lined with Chinar trees. However, maintenance of hotel is in tatters, with very little done to maintain the property. Staff is warm and friendly and make your stay comfortable. Food is nothing to compliant about. View from rooms is breathtaking. Wish they can upgrade the property and amenities. If one is not too bothered with facade of 5 star properties and is looking for quiet and comfortable holiday, one will have no regrets.

I would not recomend this hotel to anyone. The hotel has not had any mantainance since 1983. The rooms, especially the toilets are PATHETIC! I have never stayed in such a place. The internal lawns, swimming pool decks etc. are all unmantained and give you a feeling of a dharmshala. The hotel corridors are worse than a service floor corridor. These things are true for probably all rooms on the ground floor. Maybe the upper rooms are a little better. Don't think that only my room might have been bad, I checked atleast 6-8 rooms before selecting on one. They were all the same. Good things: Location is amazing, some of the main lawns are mantained. Thats it!! This hotel is not recomended to anyone.

Booked as 5star hotel. Used to be a star hotel in 1984. No renovation done over years. Employees expect tips even for bringing a towel. No breakfast was included.

We have no complaint about the hotel. Besides to recommend that you shall provide the free shuttle from airport to hotel for customer conveniences.
